I will lead the way in working with community members, in finding and or funding various means of transportation.
I will work diligently into changing the major roadways by pushing the curb outward (closer to the sidewalks) to allocate the space needed for cyclist.

Funding and educating citizens on the importance of our waterways

brought to the schools possible a day or two of classes learning of water pollution and ways to protect and conserve our water.
I honestly do not have any plans in place for the many lakes and other waterways in Greater Sudbury, however there are many men and women that work day and night to think of ways to do so, and I am willing to listen to each and everyone of them, that fiscally responsible and stand behind those ideas that protect our waterways.

Natural Environment Survey Responses:

1. How will you balance development with protection of the natural environment?
Work with the developers plans make sure there is a certain percentage of green space and or parks in those plans and have that green area a time line to be developed.

2. How will you champion opportunities in your ward to fill gaps in parks service and to protect unique natural areas (identified by the Green Space Advisory Panel)?
I would like firstly to understand the "gaps" in parks services, before I could honestly answer this question. I do know that my family enjoy walks in the various parks throughout the city, so I do know that I would like to protect the areas we have and possibly increase the green space that we have in ward 12.

I would like to see the farmers market moved to a better location where it may resemble the market on the 400 in Barrie, where other local person could sell their crafts or art work and where all the local venders food or not could "piggy back" off of each other to sell their goods.
