"I like to think that with my work of a very large organization including multiple commitments on ad hoc and standing committees I have a true appreciation and understanding for volunteerism. I most recently wrote an article on community engagement for the Sudbury Star. I also volunteer regularly throughout our community. This will also be a top priority during my term as councillor to promote and foster a broader volunteer effort in Ward 8 and beyond and to represent the interests of the non profit/charity sectors"
