Again by looking a the whole picture(which I have done since 2007) of what we have, what we need , where can it go and what the impact will be.Balancing ecological, quality of life and financial implications and community engagement.

I would like firstly to understand the "gaps" in parks services, before I could honestly answer this question. I do know that my family enjoy walks in the various parks throughout the city, so I do know that I would like to protect the areas we have and possibly increase the green space that we have in ward 12.

Multiple choice questions:

Candidate name (a) Dedicated annual funding in the municipal budget to implement the green space acquisition strategy (b) Policies in the Official Plan to recognize and protect important natural areas (c) Removing the “Laurentian link” road from the Official Plan transportation schedule (d) Re-assessing proposed roads on the Transportation Schedule that impact natural areas

Queston (c) is area specific and limiting. There is also the Montrose /Maley drive connector which is driven by the OP and dates back to 1965-.It has been recognized(EA) to have a negative impact on the neighborhood ,plans forge ahead however. The OP(TS) needs to be reevalauted with today's view of the city ..We(residents of New Sudbury-Ward 12)would appreciate having this road connector included in your survey as a question –as Loach<s rd.and certainly as part of the Good Green Towne Hall meeting..We continue to battle this outdated model and would appreciate your support.
